You can troubleshoot this error manually if you find the correct reason behind the error. You can inspect all the factors one by one and troubleshoot your issue.

Restore or Reinstall your printer driver
Epson communication errors can appear when your printer device driver gets corrupted. Restoring the corrupted files of the printer driver can troubleshoot your error. But finding the exact file is very difficult. Even if you find the corrupted file, restoring the file manually is not easy. If you are not from a technical background then instead of editing the file; you should install and run a driver update tool. You can easily find a driver update tool for your device on the internet. Download and install a compatible driver tool. Now run the driver update tool on your PC and it will restore all the corrupted files on your driver immediately. Another good method for troubleshooting the corruption issue to reinstall the printer driver. Uninstall the previously installed printer driver and then provide a fresh installation. Now check whether your communication Error Epson gets resolved or not.

Run the Printer Troubleshooter
Windows provides an inbuilt troubleshooter which manages and fixes various runtime errors on your PC. If you are unable to find the reason behind your error then using the WIndows troubleshooter can be helpful. Follow the given steps for running the tool:

Close all your running programs
Press the Windows button and type Troubleshooter in the search bar
Hit the Enter button
Troubleshooter window will appear on the screen
Go to hardware and Sound
Click on Printer option
Hit the troubleshoot button
The troubleshooter will start scanning for the error. Wait until you get the next screen. Once complete, restart your PC and try to communicate with Epson printer. If you are unable to fix the error then seek other solutions.

Check your internet connection
If you are getting this error on your wireless Epson printer then you should check the router immediately. Check whether your WPS is configured correctly or not. Now inspect the internet connection. If your internet connection is weak then also you can get into the Epson Communication error Mac. Connect your LAN cable directly to the device and search for anything on the internet browser. If the internet connection is weak then wait until the connection gets smooth.

Check your wireless connection
Your PC should allow the device to connect via Wi-Fi in the account for taking printouts. If your Epson printer is not connecting with the PC then you should check the Printer scan settings for resolving the error. You can follow the mentioned steps for troubleshooting your issue:

Press the Windows key and type Printer scan settings on your search bar
Go to Printer Scan Settings and navigate to Network Scanner Address link
Now recheck the name of your printer
Hit the OK button
Go to the Command prompt and fetch the correct proxy server address
Enter the proxy server on the given field
Press the OK button
Go to the command prompt and type ipconfig
Press the Enter button
Now copy the code and paste on the command screen
Logging page will appear
Enter the username and password
Login the router
If your printer IP address is visible then enter the address on your browser and press the Apply button for making all the appropriate changes. Now restart your computer and try to connect to the Epson printer.
