Horse racing fans in Ontario and Canada will be able to enjoy another thrilling weekend of Standardbread Racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park on October 16, 2021. Milton-based horse racing track will host an impressive eight Ontario Cires State Super Final races on Saturday as the season draws to a close.
The eight race cards see many fans' favorite horses fighting each other at the gold level of the provincial program for a total of C$1.8 million wallets distributed in the final. Fans can enjoy the event live on the track, or tune it on Woodbine Entertainment's official stream if not possible.
Saturday's race card includes CA$225,000 OSS Super Final for 2-year-old Phillies Face. The race includes famous names such as Prohibition and Silver Label. The two horses have won 13 games in 15 starts and won nearly a million championships. There's also a CA$225,000 final for the two-year-old Philistrot and the naughty Rose.
On Saturday, fans can also expect a $225,000 CA OSS Super Final for the 3-year-old filipace. One of the favorites to take the top spot here is Scarlett Hanover and Boelz Delight. The next race is the 3-year-old Coltrot's OSS Super Final with a $225,000 CA pocket. Starting in Post 9, Fashion Frenzy and Logan Park are the two most popular names in the race.
The race card also includes a two-year-old Colt Face Super Final with a $225,000 CA prize. Post 1, who has never finished second or lower in six career starts, goes head-to-head with Erinwood Eve, who scored an impressive 1:51.1 in the $99,000 OSS Gold Series Division. Two-year-old colt trot will also be properly resolved on Saturday and will be joined as Twin Arch's favourite spectator.
The three-year-old colt will also have an OSS Super Final on Sunday with a prize of CA$225,000. Here, Defajit Man, Bulldog Hanover and Powertrain will compete for first place. Finally, HP Mama B will compete with Im Ikstra for their seventh win of the season, which featured an impressive gold series this season.
Previously, fans of the sport had the opportunity to watch the final of the Ontario Cires Stakes grassroots series at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
