Fronet Gaming recently made a strong debut in Asia at the 2024 ASEAN Gaming Summit in Manila, the Philippines, and won the Best New Artist award at the event's Asia Gaming Awards.

Among the many who attended the three-day conference from March 19-21, was PAGCOR, the Philippine state-owned gaming agency led by its chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco.

Fronet Gaming is well represented by CEO Alex Reese, who welcomed the delegation with an opening-day speech and shared a preview of what to expect from Fronet Gaming as it launches in Asia by establishing a store in Manila. "We conducted research to choose a jurisdiction to build on our business, and we looked everywhere in the region. Ultimately, we decided on the Philippines because it is a place that offers us a one-stop shop with a strong regulatory framework that will give us the confidence to invest long term," Reese said.

"The Asian Gaming Awards Best New Artist Award is a testament to the incredible work our team has done behind the scenes to build a new iteration of award-winning platforms dedicated to the Asian market, and we look forward to bringing in the best people we can continue our progress."

"As we expand our operations in Asia, it is our standard to find a vibrant, local pool of talent filled with experienced and passionate people within the sector across IT, marketing and commercial support. We look forward to growth focused primarily on recruitment in the coming months."

Since its launch seven years ago, the ASEAN Games Summit has made a name for itself as a high-profile networking vehicle for the region's gaming industry, with operators, suppliers and third-party service providers appearing in full force.
