Max Scherzer (40, Texas Rangers), who returned from long rehabilitation after undergoing back surgery last year, matched the Major League legend with a perfect pitch in his return game.

Texas had a home game against the Kansas City Royals at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on the 24th (Korea time).

Scherzer returned from injury on the day and threw 57 pitches (39 strikes) during five innings, allowing one hit and four strikeouts. It was a perfect return match.

Texas won 4-0, thanks to Scherzer's hard throw, Leody Taveras' two hits and two RBIs, and Jose Urena's four scoreless innings.

Scherzer had four strikeouts and was on par with Greg Maddox in this category. He added four to his previous record of 3367 strikeouts to 3,371.

Scherzer tied Maddox's 3,371 strikeouts, which ranks 11th in the Major League history. He is aiming for 11th place alone in the next game.

Close to perfection, Scherzer threw a four-seam fastball of up to 94.3 miles on the day. He also posted a maximum speed of 87.6 miles on the cut fastball.

Now it looks like Scherzer will have a little more pitches in the next game. Scherzer's normal return could be a big boost for Texas. 토토사이트 순위

Taveras, who had two hits and two RBIs, played an active role in the lineup. Urena also took the mound in the sixth inning with four innings of one hit and no run saved.

Kansas City, on the other hand, was completely blocked by the Texas mound on the day, and ended up with two hits and one walk. In addition, starting pitcher Alek Marsh lost the game by allowing three runs in 52/3 innings.
