Gyeongnam FC has completed the organization of its coaching staff for the 2024 season.
Head Coach Park Dong-hyuk will be joined by Head Coach Kwon Woo-kyung, Assistant Coach Kim Yong-tae, GK Coach Kim Byung-gon, Assistant Coach Seo Kwan-soo, and Physical Coach Jung Hoon-ki.
Head Coach Kwon Woo-kyung played for Incheon United and KB Bank Football Club in 2004 and has been coaching since 2010. He then coached FC Anyang before joining Chungnam Asan FC as head coach in 2021, where he worked with Park Dong-hyuk for three years.
Coach Kim Yong-tae made his debut with Daejeon Citizen in 2006 and has extensive professional experience as a player with Ulsan Hyundai, Sangju Sangmu, Busan I-Park, and Chungju Hummel. He made his coaching debut in 2017 as the head coach of Pohang Steelers U15 and later worked with Chungnam Asan FC U18 before joining Park Dong-hyuk as the head coach of Chungnam Asan FC from 2022.
GK Coach Kim Byung-gon made his debut as a player in 2006 with the KBFC and began his coaching career in 2019. After coaching at Sejong Sports Toto Football Club, he joined Chungnam Asan FC in 2022 to work alongside Park Dong-hyuk.
Seo made his debut with Seongnam Ilhwa in 2002 and went on to play for Daegu FC, Suwon City Hall, FC Gifu (J2 League), and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. He has also coached at Wonju Halla University and Wonju FC U-18.
Jung Hoon-ki is a graduate of Incheon National University's Department of Kinesiology and Athletic Training at CHA Medical Center. He started as a youth coach at Seongnam FC in 2017 and worked with FC Seoul U15, FC Seoul U18, and FC Seoul Physical Coach until last year.
He was joined by power analyst Moon Se-jong, who worked with Park for three years at Chungnam Asan FC. Meanwhile, having completed the organization of the coaching staff, Gyeongnam will begin overseas training in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on Saturday, March 13.
