As you can see in the above table, there are very few children in the Barrowford & Western Parish area. However, the age group of 0-4 years is slightly higher than the national average. There are also more people in the 20-24 age category. The Barrowford & Western Parish area has the highest proportion of population aged 60 and over at 24.6%.
