Piezoelectric ceramic hemisphere

Electrode direction: thickness direction

Applications:  High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, high power ultrasonic transducer

Focused ultrasound system has good tissue penetration and localization. It can focus energy through surface tissue and target tissue at a specific depth to produce biological effects, which can make the pathological tissue recover quickly. The dosage of focused ultrasound therapy is easy to control and safe. After treatment, only local tissue has transient congestion and edema, and surface cells can remain intact, quick recovery.

Ultrasound focusing has good tissue penetration and energy storage. The host generates high-frequency electrical signals, which are converted into focused ultrasound by transducer. The ultrasound is transmitted to the lesion tissues by circulating water system, sound transmission membrane and contact coupling agent. Ultrasound can produce thermal effect, mechanical effect, cavitation effect and biochemical effect in biological tissues. Polaris uses these characteristics to act on pathological tissues to degenerate them, promote tissue reconstruction and improve microcirculation to achieve therapeutic purposes.

PZT-82 is equal to PZT-8, hard PZT for higher mechanical

quality factor, lower dielectric loss required and much higher power handling

capability etc. transducers.
