Benzimidazoles (BZs) are a class of drugs with activities against fungi, protozoa, and helminths and are commonly employed in veterinary and human medicine. BZ drugs have many benefits, including selectivity, low mammalian toxicity, high efficacy, ease of administration and low cost. However, the overusing or/and losing control of uses of BZs results in the emergence of BZ resistance. In order to monitor and control the usage of BZs, antibodies against BZs are needed.
