As as it happens, this last theory is correct. YouTuber illusory wall made the enlightening discovery that placing Shining Coins in a very door would end in their grossly incandescent glow emanating your other side. As such, they tried lodging a couple of Shining MS 2 Mesos Coins within the mystery door, then observing what they have to thought would be a similar door for the Great Bridge. Their assumption was correct, when you can see inside video below walking us through tips on how to get with the idea to end from the forever closed door.
So how does this faux shortcut exist if we could never open it? Why go towards the trouble of adorning the door that has a tantalising "closed" prompt as opposed to not letting us communicate with it in any way? The jury is still from that one. It's possible that it must be a shortcut that never located fruition, but that explanation doesn't entirely gel by himself, because how hard will it be to let players open a fairly easy door?
My cash is on developer From Software trolling its fans. Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki pulled an identical trick in Dark Souls wherein players were asked to select a gift for the game's opening. One item was obviously a pendant identified as having "no effect, but fond memories comfort travelers." Miyazaki told a Famitsu interviewer that he'd always select the pendant reely, leading fans to speculate for any year what mysterious profit Buy MS 2 Mesos the seamlessly useless pendant could actually have. As as it turns out, it turned out completely useless all things considered and he only use it in there like a prank drive an automobile players batty. One can't help but assume Bloodborne's door served a comparable purpose, possibly like a play off player expectations of shortcuts over these games. Well played, Miayazaki-san. Well played.
