Before you start taking Artvigil 150, and every time you obtain a refill, read the Medication Guide issued by your pharmacist. Inquire with your doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns.

Take this pill by mouth as advised by your doctor for narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea, generally once daily in the morning. If you're using armodafinil for shift work sleep problems, follow your doctor's instructions and take it once a day, one hour before your shift begins. You can take this drug with or without food, however, if you take it with food, armodafinil may take longer to function.

If you're using this medication to treat sleep apnea, keep using your other treatments (such as a CPAP machine or a mouth device) until your doctor advises you to stop.

The dose is determined by your medical condition and treatment response. To receive the best benefit from this pill, take it on a daily basis.

You may get withdrawal symptoms if you suddenly stop using this pill (such as shaking, sweating, chills, nausea, vomiting, confusion). To avoid withdrawal, your doctor may gradually reduce your dose. If you've been using armodafinil for a long period or in large dosages, you're more likely to have withdrawal symptoms. If you have withdrawal symptoms, contact your doctor or pharmacist straight away.

It's possible that if you use this medication for a long time, it won't function as effectively. If this medication isn't functioning as well as it used to, talk to your doctor.

Despite the fact that it benefits a large number of individuals, this medicine has the potential to create addiction. If you have a substance use issue (such as overuse or addiction to drugs/alcohol), your risk may be increased. To reduce the danger of addiction, take this medicine precisely as directed.
