When the rotating speed of the ore milling plant is maintained at a certain speed, the greater the steel ball filling rate, the more blows to the material, and the grinding area will increase.

Accordingly, the grinding efficiency of the ore milling plant will be improved, but the energy consumption is also large.

However, if the steel ball filling rate is too high, it is easy to change the motion state of the steel ball, which reduces the striking effect on large particle materials.

In production practice, most mines will set the filling rate as 45% ~ 50%, but this is only an approximate range, because the actual conditions of each concentrator are different, blind copying will not obtain ideal grinding efficiency, which depends on the situation.
