Night scopes have their own characteristics that you need to know. The main thing is the energy of the shot (recoil) for which the sight is designed. There are two types of scopes. The first is the classic night vision sights, the so-called "night lights", the second group is thermal imagers. The principle of operation and the resulting image in them are different, they perform tasks at night in different ways, and the cost differs tenfold.

Night sights work on a reflected signal, for this they need at least a little light and the more it is, the better it will be seen and in an impenetrable night, the image quality for them decreases. The lighter the subject, the brighter.

To choose a sight, I recommend that you read articles about hunting. This way you can improve your knowledge of hunting, how to prepare for the hunt and what kind of weapons, optics and scopes are best to choose.

Night vision scope is a tough nut to crack. Personally, first I'd find a manufacturer that I prefer normal scopes and then dive into their night vision options after. If someone can't make decent rifle scopes https://gritrsports.com/optics/scopes/riflescopes/ then you can bet they won't make a good night vision one either! My go-to brands are Vortex, Bushnells and Swaro, all of those have great night vision scopes/
