I know I'm gonna get hate with this but I really enjoy the game thus far and MT NBA 2K21 love the new shot meter. I genuinely believe this will be better than 20 and I will have fun on it. I don't despise them for making it the same because the new gen is coming out in two months lol. Obviously they are not gonna go all out trying to improve the graphics cause that would be stupid to put all their time into it when the new gen is coming out in the exact same time period so that they most likely directed their attention to next gen.
I understand that is a shitty thing on their part and that they haven't been reliable the previous 3 years but it's similar to whenever the ps4 came out they stopped putting effort into their 2ks and then 2k14 on the PS4 was amazing and everyone loved it. Anyhow my point is I really love what they have done together with the meter and believe it feels fantastic and plays great so far and I am not bashing them for it appearing the same since it is supposed to look the same before next gen. Today if it's still awful and seems exactly the exact same and plays the same on next gen I'll for sure be sterile and be done with 2k but as if I know that is my view on things.
Dribbling was kinda cruced that the way you do moves doesn't transition or correlate nicely. Like the new way to do a behind the back just doesn't flow well with different motions. I actually liked the dribbling more, sounded like it was harder to junk one move together a bundle and simpler to chain unique moves more easily, I think as we get more accustomed to the dribbling it might be a lot better than 2k20. The dribbling just feels as though it's a minimal ability gap, and the higher skilled motions (18 half twist, walkback combos, etc) all look clunky and embarrassing. Like in 19 or 17 that the highest skill moves , and it felt like you had full control over your player. The simple fact that they left the stop a move from flicking on the ideal rod into tapping LT made me delete the demonstration real fast, idky that they fucking change shit every year for no reason it's so fucking annoying to understand standard shit again because they transfer it around for no reason. What do you want realistic dribbling or dribbling in which you practically have to do nothing to pull moves off?
What? Realistic dribbling is so easy. I heard all the realistic moves in 20 the first few times the match dropped. The proficient shit such as the 18 half spin took far longer. Dribbling in 17, 19, and 16 took ability. It wasn't realistic. It created a huge skill gap and was fun as fuck though.
You can not possess a substantial skill gap with sizeups that a movie of the stick the match is going to do to you. Its fun because it's easy to use and easy to chain. Realistic dribbling is how it needs to go for a legitimate skill limit to come. Just like in real life the game has to be able to divide the Kyrie's from the Pat Bevs in relation to dribbling which it has yet to do besides simply locking out animations for Buy NBA 2K21 MT low ball control and simply making high ball control only have faster dribbling.
