The free-to-play match has been around since 2001, and since then has gone through numerous iterations -- most recently getting an HTML-based name with OSRS gold 3 rather than the Java-based Old School RuneScape. Both variations are still being encouraged to this day, together with the UK-based developer preparing to incorporate new content to RuneScape with its Desperate Measures update.

This trailer invites players to uncover secrets using Runescape's newest Archaeology ability, battle to survive against creatures like dinosaurs inserted into RuneScape in 2019, and ultimately save the world from the threat of a hero that has"dropped to darkness." Interview has been edited for clarity.

Desperate Measures is a followup to Desperate Times, therefore what if players know about that first part to get ready for what's coming next? This call has been echoed by the other Elder Gods who were waking up.

Kerapac presented the council with a plan to place the Elder Gods back to sleep using the Needle, a time controlling artefact. This required the assistance of the mythical enchanter Charos, that has been disguised as the shy librarian Reldo for the past several years. With the Assistance of Charos and Thok that the World Guardian helps to transfer control of the Needle from its previous host, Gail, to Kerapac. We ended Desperate Times together with the participant watching as Kerapac flew to Anachronia to start his black plan in secret.

Desperate Measures was announced at RuneFest 2019, along with the new Archaeology skill. How can these connect together, both in terms of gameplay and the background of the planet? We utilize components of the Archaeology skill within the quest. Players need to excavate and restore historic artefacts buried in the floor. But furthermore, Archaeology provides some of the theme for the quest, which will be uncovering the past. The player will find themselves looking into the history of Orthen as well as the dragonkin, studying what Kerapac is around but also about the early past of one of the most mysterious races around Gielinor. RuneScape has contained a great deal of content within the years that uses archaeological themes. The Archaeology skill really gives us a set of constant mechanics to create new content along the same theme, which is great.

What are those about? The dragonkin have been more clinically advanced than a lot of the other races. Whilst I can not give you particulars at this point, as part of Old School RuneScape Gold this quest you will learn what these are used to get and socialize together within this story. The dragonkin endured the destruction of their universe and also the creation of ours - a feat of incredible technology and durability the current residents of Gielinor couldn't hope to match.
