The magical characteristics of acetate fiber:

1. Good thermoplasticity: Acetate fiber softens at 200C ~ 230C and melts at 260C. This feature makes acetate fiber similar to synthetic fibers in that it does not recover in shape after plastic deformation and has permanent deformation.

2. Excellent dyeability: Acetate fiber can usually be dyed with disperse dyes, and has good coloring performance and bright color, and its coloring performance is better than other cellulose fibers.

3. Appearance is similar to mulberry silk: the appearance and luster of acetic ester fiber is similar to that of mulberry silk, and its soft and smooth feel is similar to that of mulberry silk. Its specific gravity is the same as that of mulberry silk, so there is no difference in drape and silk. The fabric woven from acetate silk is easy to wash and dry, and it is mildew-proof and acetate-free, and its elasticity is better than viscose fiber.

4. Performance is close to mulberry silk: Compared with the viscose fiber and the physical and mechanical properties of mulberry silk, the strength of acetic ester fiber is lower, and the elongation at break is larger. Although the ratio of wet strength to dry strength is lower, it is higher than that of viscose. Glue yarn, small initial modulus, lower moisture regain than viscose fiber and mulberry silk, but higher than synthetic fiber, its wet strength to dry strength ratio, relative hook strength and knot strength, elastic recovery rate, etc. no big difference. Therefore, the performance of acetate fiber in chemical fiber is closest to that of mulberry silk.
