There are two kinds of gas pipe joint, plastic joint and metal joint. The production cost of plastic joint is lower, the production process is simpler, and the pressure resistance is only 1 MPa. The metal joint is more expensive because of the complex manufacturing process and high material requirements. The pressure resistance and high temperature resistance of the metal joint are the preferred choice for the environment with high requirements.
According to the structure, the gas pipe joint can be divided into two types: open and close at both ends, open at both ends and single way open and close.
1. Open and close type at both ends
When not linked: when the ferrule of the parent body is moved to the other end, the stainless steel ball will automatically roll outward, and the daughter body will be disconnected due to the force of the common valve spring force of the parent body and the parent body, and the valve of the daughter body and the parent body will be closed respectively, and the fluid flow will be blocked instantly.
When connecting: when the daughter body is inserted into the mother body, the ferrule returns to its original position under the action of the spring, and the steel ball rolls to lock the daughter body tightly. At the same time, the valve of the parent body and the daughter body push each other to open, and the fluid flows. The O-ring can completely block the leakage of the fluid.
2. Open end
No link: when the ferrule of the parent body is pushed to the other end, the steel ball automatically rolls outward, so the daughter body is moved out; because there is no valve between the daughter body and the mother body, the fluid flows out.
When connecting: when the daughter body is inserted into the parent body, the ferrule is pushed to the previous position by the force of its spring, causing the steel ball to lock and the fluid flows. The O-ring in the ring can prevent liquid leakage
