To also keep in with graphic styles I haven't even mentioned everybody utilizing money shop skins which are all entirely out of place and uninspired. I played other MMOs that had a focus on MTX cash shop outfits (mostly guild wars two ) and at the very least most of those outfits really looked like they belonged in RuneScape match in some way shape or form. RS3 proceeded ignored it and changed its design philosophy. On the scale of these are small issues, but it made me stop playing, when they stack on top of eachother. There was too much immunity as it came to figuring out that reveals a level of unprofessionalism when it but it buy RuneScape gold proceeded ignored it the way to do easy things. comes to design and the way to do easy things.
This isn't to completely shit on RS3. There is a good deal of QoL changes I found to be quite nice such as the toolbelt, currency pouch, as well as the complete necessary rework to mining and smithing (that is frankly necessary in OSRS) just as a few examples. I just would not state that the MTX is the only poor thing about RS3, once I feel it has motor, graphic and UI problems and (in my opinion only for this ) an uninspired art style in which the MTX outfits don't even match that design philosophy.
I favor mentality. I prefer unrestricted their advancement is and how mature the RS3 content is although stopped playing both games a while back. Yes a few things are bad such as MTX, however, the upgrades aren't held back by people who dislike a certain item/area/skill added. I believe because nostalgia is living off RS3 will not die quicker than OSRS. Not as a YouTuber/streamer has an opinion and his community, letting updates will cheap OSRS gold side-by-side is a recipe for disaster. Pun intended.
