So began playing about a month ago and I'm finding it hard to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta get into Phantasy Star Online 2. I had been a PSO Phantasy Star Online 2 player from GC, DC vanilla and burst. I'm playing with 3 friends with similar backgrounds. I believe we have unlocked all of the areas and I'm moving through episode 1 of story quests. Everything is too easy to kill (hard mode now) and what is there to do except daily missions and crisis quests? I feel like we're missing the pointwe never know what to do when we log it feels meaningless. PSO was much less complex and had content but for today most of us find PSO2 hard to get excited about. So either we are overly nostalgic or we don't understand what we should be doing or (hopefully not) that is just not appropriate for us anymore. Any help/pointers would be appreciated.
PSO2 endgame has been about trying to clear things you usually need a group for in reasonable timeframes. NA simply doesn't have a lot of that right now - you're down by 2 difficulty levels (you are fighting level 75 enemies while JP is fighting level 96~100 enemies) and you are also missing lots of this"endgame" content that is difficult, such as Ultimate Quests, Limitless Quests, etc.. For now, just don't rush anything. Slowly enjoy the ride - after PC drops, there is going to be a lot of us, and there's going to be quite a few JP vets which are going to be around to help get folks up to speed.
For NA right now likely not elsewhere. You can attempt to calculate your character as far as possible, amount other classes, just save meseta in overall, style stuff, etc.. My experience with PSO2 overall is a sort of on and off match (though I feel that's true for lots of F2P MMOs, perhaps only MMOs in general)I just have 3,000 hours over its whole lifetime of 8 decades. Later on there's usually a clear Gearing goal to grind out, though even then is related to Emergency Quests.
Additionally, there are some modes with which are about, you can challenge yourself. This year I have been doing a little more of"Limitless Quests" attempting to get better at them. To demonstrate some skill disparity (a tiny class and gear related perhaps but), I did a 2-man run with a friend and just did 1"lap" plus a bit of the very first Endless Quest that some individuals have even solo'd 3 laps of. That kind of stuff (getting better at my course ) outside just getting the new equipment and undergoing any new quests is pretty much the endgame for me.
Are Extreme Quests in Phantasy Star Online 2 yet? Those get pretty damn crazy later, and will be the secret to getting yourself put in a higher degree of recognition:"expert Phantasy Star Online 2 player." New difficulties with even higher degree minimums (I am pretty sure I've seen 85/85 minimums). Solo's most extreme challenges. It's not going to be a gear mill, you truly have to learn playing your character courses to succeed in the endgame. If you're speaking to cheap meseta pso2 this Extreme Quests that need the pass (that you can become once every 20 hours) then yes, NA has them up to 70 or 75.
