It's slower and lacks exactly PoE trade currency the same kinetic energy as monsters ragdoll and the environment crumbles from the strikes. But what it lacks in animation and action, it makes up for in spades with the strategic depth that comes from gradually molding a character from such a robust system. I don't feel nearly as attached to some of my Diablo characters since I feel like I have invested so much time into intimately understanding the way my Witch works. She feels handcrafted although I built her from a template. And together with her passive tree nearly complete and a good deal of her skills in place, she burns through packs of creatures with tremendous ferocity.

After I adopted Path of Exile's sprawling complexity, the dominos of my apprehension began to fall. I wanted to learn more about the POE game since I understood that its complexity is in fact a virtue. The other evening I spent an hour on the wiki figuring out where I could get the remainder of the skill gems I need to complete my build, and there's a few dozen additional long-term goals I'm starting to work towards. Just like a fantastic MMO, I'm excited about the travel instead of the destination. And that is another reason why Diablo 3's Necromancer, despite being a great deal of fun to perform, never hooked me for more than a couple of days. In a hour or two, I'd electricity levelled him to 70, but that I didn't feel any relationship with the progress I had made.

Now that I have learned to appreciate Path of Exile's core POE game, I'm also beginning to appreciate Path of Oriath. As I said, it presents six new acts for a total of ten. This replaces the genre-standard difficulty system, in which I'd normally play the same content over and over at higher difficulties. Instead, Path of Exile is now one massive adventure. Technically four of the newest acts are a retread through recognizable zones, but there's constant detours to new locations and dramatic changes to the scene to help keep things interesting. Beyond this, there is a whole endPOE game to look ahead, but I'm not sure if I'll even arrive. I've already been studying other build guides and I'm itching to try something new, to buy poe exalted orbs experience which slow transformation from weakling to god-like but using a brand new playstyle.
