People usually carry 4 to 6 times of their  Fungus Eliminator Review body weight through the ankle joint while walking on steep slopes or rising through stairs. Apart from obesity, shoes are also important factor causing foot problems. A two-and-half inches heel can increase load on the forefoot by 75%. So check your shoes before wearing. Vicks Vaporub is one of the more popular talked about and promoted home remedies for the nasty condition of toenail fungus. Some people claim to have had success using Vicks as a remedy although the science behind it being a cure is a bit sketchy in my opinion.

What Is In Vicks? Vicks is basically a topical analgesic that contains a number of ingredients including menthol, camphor, eucalyptus and some other ingredients in a petroleum base. Where Did This Cure Originate From? Although the point of origination for this so called cure is difficult to pinpoint, one of the main reasons that this method has become very popular is due to Dr. Peter Gott MD, a medical doctor considered America's most widely read medical columnist. He has written and said when asked about toenail fungus "You might consider trimming your nail and applying a petrolatum menthol salve to the top and underside twice daily.

The process may take a month or more, but a healthy nail should ultimately grow out, replacing the yellow discoloration you are likely experiencing". He has also stated "It has proven its antifungal properties with toenail fungus, athlete's foot and jock itch" According to their website, when asked is Vicks Vaporub safe to use for toenail fungus, the answer given by the company is "We haven't tested nor has the FDA approved Vicks VapoRub as a toenail fungus treatment. Therefore, we do not recommend it for treatment of toenail fungus". That is a pretty direct answer.
