Motorcycles are more prone to collisions caused by inattention since they are smaller and less noticeable than other vehicles. The defence could argue that blind spots, a lack of time, or blocked views prevented the driver of the other vehicle from approaching the motorcycle.
This defence establishes the responsibility of maintaining visibility on the road in the motorbike in order to shift responsibility for the collision away from the driver of the vehicle.
