A derivative of petroleum, Propylene/Butylene Hydralyft Review Glycol is often used in making herb extracts and is added to creams. It is toxic and when absorbed into the skin it can damage the cellular structure. These chemicals are used in various industries and workers are always warned to wear gloves when handling them, and yet the same chemicals are used in deodorants and skin creams in much smaller quantities without warnings. Beware of creams with parabens in them. Parabens are used to make creams last longer but they are highly toxic and can cause skin rashes and irritations. If you have sensitive skin, eczema, rosecea check that the cream you are using is paraben-free.

Unless you're a hermit, most of us like to get outdoors every now and then. Hiking trips, the park, outings at the beach, and even skiing have one thing in common - they all involve exposure to the sun. Even if it's just a short while outside, those little periods of exposure can add up over time and begin to take their toll as we age, or even worse, can lead to skin cancer. This doesn't have to be the case however, if you learn the precautions to take for having safe fun in the sun.

The sun isn't a big bad monster that skin cancer might lead you to believe, like anything else, too much of a anything can be bad. The sun is healthy for us in fact, as sun exposure is the best source of vitamin D. Basically, we all need a little sun, but not too much. It's all about striking the proper balance. If you plane on being outside in direct sunlight for long amounts of time, do the smart thing and cover up. of course, trips to the beach involve baring skin, but be smart and split up those sun exposures with putting on a t-shirt for a while. There's always sunscreen to consider as well; make sure it's SPF 15 or higher for the best protection.
