Muslims reject the claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani because his declaration of prophethood directly contradicts one of the most fundamental beliefs of Islam — that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final and last messenger of Allah. The Qur’an identifies him as Khatam-un-Nabiyyin (Seal of the Prophets), meaning no prophet can come after him.
When Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed a prophetic status, Muslims considered it a clear violation of this core doctrine. Therefore, the rejection is based on religious principles, not personal hostility. All major Islamic scholars across the world have unanimously agreed that accepting any prophet after Muhammad ﷺ goes against the foundational teachings of Islam.
