New Release: Rado Anatom Automatic Bracelet luxury replica watches

When Rado originally released watches like the Anatom (I believe it was in 1983 as part of the DiaStar collection), such timepieces embodied modernity in two ways. The first was in the case material. Rado was an early innovator in materials like zirconium dioxide (“high-tech ceramic”), using these materials as early as 1986 before other watchmakers, and eventually incorporating them into its [now iconic] angular case design. In celebration of the dark, scratch-resistant ceramic material, Rado chose a then-futuristic shape and silhouette for its watches, while also trying to respect the tradition of highly legible and comfortable timepieces. Today, Rado’s iconic look remains, but many watch enthusiasts still have relatively little experience wearing Rado products.

For decades, the Anatom’s distinctive angular “bracelet” high quality replica watches design has been a signature design for the Swiss watchmaker, which is part of the Swatch Group. Recently, Rado reintroduced the Anatom watch into its collection, which aBlogtoWatch reviewed here in early 2024. In late 2024, Rado released new color versions of the Anatom Automatic, including finally offering a bracelet option for the case, as well as a black rubber strap. In my opinion, the Rado Anatom Automatic is definitely a watch that is meant to be worn on a bracelet (if you prefer to pair it with some diamonds, Rado has you covered there, too).

The square case profile and size of the Rado Anatom is very flattering on the wrist. This is something you can’t usually easily determine unless you see the Anatom in person on your own or someone else’s wrist. I think if you’re not used to the Anatom, the entire case package might look a little odd visually, especially if you’ve only seen pictures of it online. That being said, once on the wrist, the Anatom’s interesting looks, durable materials, and comfort contribute to a stylish style that goes well with the wrist (as the name implies). Currently, Rado produces the Anatom Automatic in both black standard ceramic and gray-toned, more metallic “plasma high-tech ceramic.” Other finishing options for both ceramic models include gold-tone metal accents, different dial colors, and, of course, different levels of diamond decoration (for the “Jubile” version). The top-of-the-line Rado Anatom Automatic Diamond model has a few gemstones on the dial as well as on the thin horizontal metal sections between the ceramic links.

The current Rado Anatom case is larger than the 1980s original, but still modestly sized at 32.5mm wide and 11.3mm thick. I think the overall design is like a futuristic 1980s Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. The Anatom case uses an interestingly shaped sapphire crystal over the dial, using technology that Rado swiss replica watches helped pioneer in the 1980s. The case is water-resistant to 50 meters and is powered by a Swiss automatic movement produced for Rado by the group’s ETA manufacture. The movement inside the Rado Anatom Automatic is called the R766 automatic movement, and it has a power reserve of 72 hours. Curiously, Rado does not mention the frequency of this movement, nor does its performance specs indicate any standard ETA movement.

ETA names Rado's R766 movement the ETA A31.111. Interestingly, this relatively modern movement is a redesign of the traditional ETA 2892-A2, similar to the ETA Powermatic series, but with different tuning. The Powermatic (which is not based on the 2892 as far as I know) reduces the frequency from 4Hz to 3Hz, doubling the power reserve of about 40 hours to 80 hours. The A31.111 takes the previous 4Hz movement and reduces the frequency to 3.5Hz, while increasing the power reserve by about 75-80% to 72 hours. As far as I know, this series of movements is currently only available in Rado watches, and is pretty much the only Swatch Group movement other than the now-older Omega Co-Axial movement that runs at this relatively exotic frequency. That’s cool, and it means that the movement inside the Rado Anatom Automatic has a story to tell, rather than just having the same automatic mechanical movement as many other watches. The movement is visible through a sapphire window on the back of the Anatom Automatic case. replica Audemars Piguet watches

I’m looking forward to trying this latest Rado watch in person. Currently, there are no quartz Anatom models, but the name “Anatom Automatic” certainly means that quartz models are likely to be on the way — especially models with thinner cases. Right now, the eight versions of the Anatom Automatic are a nice blend of sporty futurism (the rubber strap versions) and modern, stylish everyday elegance (the bracelet versions). These watches are all about celebrating simple symmetry, modern materials, and classic legibility. replica Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono
