Fortnite includes a new glider for players

It feels so wonderfully appropriate to the planet of Fortnite: Battle Royale the ultimate reward for its most deadly of fortnite weapons gamers is something so oddly dainty: an umbrella. When you find a participant descending into the map carrying a Mary Poppins-style umbrella, that means that they are feared competitors because they have pried that umbrella from the leavings of 99 defeated enemies and maintained it through a Victory Royale, and none in 50 vs.

50, either. Every season has its umbrella that it is possible to collect along with the base one, and that makes these the greatest collectable: to observe a player with an umbrella is one thing, to find a player having the most recent umbrella is another.

It is a beach umbrella, obviously. I suppose this type of thing was unavoidable, at any point? The introduction of Lazy Links and Paradise Palms follow a definite type of summer fun sub-theme, something which we see with the new lifeguard and leaked shark skins.

The beach umbrella is definitely a part of that theme, even if I'm not all that crazy about it, entire. Last season saw a strange-looking graffiti-covered umbrella having a few true personality, and the season before that watched my favorite so far, cheap fortnite items and not simply because it's the only one I've: a red paper parasol with dragon detail.

So far, Season 5 is a little bit difficult to pin down, much like Fortnite itself. Many people assumed it would be time travel, and I'm not willing to come out here and say it isn't time traveling. But it's obviously a whole lot of other stuff too: both large new areas are sort of summer fun themed, using a bit of California moving on. The beach umbrella is definitely part of that narrative, I'd argue.
