Ryu Ji-hyuk's walk allowed one out, runners on the first and second bases. Jeon Byung-woo's strikeout and Kim Young-woong's fly ball to the center field failed to score an additional point.
KT opened in the bottom of the third inning with Bae Jung-dae's infield hit to third base. Kim Min-hyuk's double play dampened its momentum. Rojas was also out on a pitcher's grounder.
◆4th-6th episode: KT who chased, Samsung who ran away
In the top of the fourth inning, Samsung had a chance to score with one out and runners on second base with Kim Ji-chan's walk and Kim Seong-yoon's sacrifice bunt. Koo Ja-wook's timely hit to the right made the score 4-0. Follow-up McKinnon's hit was caught as a straight hit to the second base, and Koo failed to return to the first base, filling out three outs.
