NRT Partners with Strendus Sportsbook & Online Casino; NRT’s OfferCraft Software Increases Click-Throughs by 490%

Strendus, Mexico's leading online casino and sportsbook, and NRT, one of the largest fintech and information-enabled technology companies in the gaming industry, recently signed a partnership agreement to improve Strendus' customer engagement to triple digits.

Strendus, a member of Mexico's Logland Entertainment Group, sought to deploy new marketing and engagement strategies to reward players in an interesting way and generate additional revenue. To that end, the company turned to NRT, which acquired the award-winning OfferCraft engagement platform in early 2018.

NRT's OfferCraft gamification engine allows gaming, hospitality, and entertainment operators to integrate technology-based and chance-based gaming experiences into email, social media, advertising, and other marketing channels. These include digital trivia games, winner selection games, soccer games, and scratch games. The software also includes interactive rewards that can be exchanged or changed after deployment.

Cecilia Murillo, marketing manager at Strendus, explained that with so many options in the marketplace, keeping registered players loyal to one brand can be challenging. "We liked the way NRT's team analyzed customer sentiment behind engagement, and we liked the track record of building successful engagement campaigns for different operators. They actually created a variety of personalized games that closely matched preferences across a large and diverse set of customers. The results were great."

Strendus conducted several A/B tests to observe the effectiveness of integrating gamified and standard incentives. Campaigns based on OfferCraft consistently outperformed existing initiatives.

"One of the most inaccessible viewers is the customers who stopped visiting and interacting with us," Murillo said. "So one of our first OfferCraft campaigns was directed at these viewers. We were able to increase the click-through rate from 11 percent to 54 percent, which is a 490 percent improvement. Once we saw our inactive customers come back to our website and play again, we started adding gamification to many other campaigns."
