Leeds United are pushing for the full signing of Joe Roden.

He is a Welsh centre-back. He is 193 centimeters tall and has excellent speed, intelligent defense capability, provisional right using his physical strength, and build-up capability. He is a hexagonal defender who possesses basic skills that a centre-back must possess.

He grew up in Swansea City, where Ki Sung-yueng played in the past. He made his senior debut on loan to Cheltenham in the 2017-18 season, and after returning to the 2018-19 season, he played as a key player.

Thanks to his development into a quality center back in the second division, he was selected by Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham, which had a thin center back at the time, paid a transfer fee of 20 billion won to recruit Roden.

His place at Tottenham was absent, however. He played in 12 league games in his first year of transfer, but he failed to establish himself and lost ground further in the first half of the 2021-22 season. He eventually left for Stadren in the French league in the second half of the year.

This season, too, Roden has been on loan. The second division's Leeds loan has been a success. Roden has established himself as a key defender at Leeds. With 24 league appearances to date, he has been leading the team's upward trend with his stable defense. Leeds are raising hopes for an "promotion" by reaching fourth place in the league thanks to his performance.

In response, Leeds hopes to fully recruit Roden. British media Team Talk reported in November, "Roden seems to have no future at Tottenham. When he leaves for Leeds, he is less likely to return to Tottenham because it does not include the option of returning to loan. Roden's contract with Tottenham expires in the summer of 2025 and Tottenham want £20 million for his transfer fee. Leeds plans to push for his full recruitment during the winter transfer window."

Leeds' courtship of Roden is continuing. British media Football Insider reported that Liz is trying to recruit the loanee Roden completely. Leeds are concerned that if Roden continues to perform well, his ransom will skyrocket in the summer. British media Football London also reported that Liz will try to recruit Roden completely this month.
