Kim Ha-sung's 'bitter taste' in the team's defeat despite his strong performance of two RBIs, Bae Ji-hwan 'exits' in protest of referee strike call

Kim Ha-sung (28) of San Diego in the Major League hit three hits in a Korean Major League match against Pittsburgh Bae Ji-hwan (24). Bae Ji-hwan scored an RBI with a sacrifice fly, but was sent off while protesting the referee's strike decision. The game was won by Bae Ji-hwan's Pittsburgh 9-4.

Kim Ha-sung started as the first batter of the second baseman in an away game at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the 28th and was active with three hits and two RBIs in five at-bats. He has raised his batting average to 0.258 and OPS to 0.748 (OPS). Kim Ha-sung hit from his first at-bat in the first inning. He pulled an outer curve after a seven-ball game against Pittsburgh starter Rich Hill. However, Fernando Tatis Jr. immediately hit a double play and failed to score.

In the second inning, San Diego's batters swung hard, and Kim Ha-sung also went straight to his second at-bat. Kim Ha-sung hit a timely hit to the center of the line drive with two outs and a full base. Two runners on the second and third bases stepped home at once.

Kim Ha-sung struck out in the fifth inning, but as the leadoff hitter in the seventh inning, he hit his third hit of the day. In the ninth inning, he retired with an infield grounder.

San Diego led 3-0 early in the game with Kim Ha-sung's two-run timely hit in the top of the second inning, but failed to keep the lead for a long time. The scheduled starter Darvish Yu was not in good physical condition, so Lis Canier, who played instead, allowed three runs in the second inning. Bae Ji-hwan, who started as the seventh batter of Pittsburgh's second baseman, scored his first run to the team with a sacrifice fly from his first at-bat with no outs and runners on first and third base in the second inning. Pittsburgh came from behind with two runs in the bottom of the third inning. In the 6th and 7th innings, he added 2 points and 1 point, respectively, and won a 9-4 come-from-behind victory.

Bae Ji-hwan was sent off after protesting the referee's strike decision in his fourth at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning. Bae Ji-hwan spread out three fingers and complained to the referee when a strike was made on a fast ball that entered deep into the body for the second pitch. It meant that the third strange decision had already been made today alone. In Bae Ji-hwan's second at-bat in the bottom of the third inning, the referee ruled the second high ball as a strike. In his third at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning, he also ruled the third high ball as a strike.

At the referee's decision, Bae Ji-hwan had to swing his bat to a high ball that was out of the zone in both at-bats. He struck out swinging in the bottom of the third inning and got a foul tip out in the bottom of the fifth inning. When Bae Ji-hwan expressed his dissatisfaction, the referee ordered him to leave immediately. Pittsburgh manager Derek Shelton ran out of the dugout to stop Bae Ji-hwan.  토토사이트
