The historic William Hill Race & Sportsbook of the Plaza Hotel & Casino today unveiled a completely remodeled and refreshed space and lighting ceremony.

To celebrate the occasion, U.S. CEO William Hill Joe Asher, Plaza Hotels and Casino CEO Jonathan Josel, and former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman lit up Las Vegas' largest seamless HD video wall. The most dramatic change in the Race and Sports Book, the video wall is 5 feet high, 16.5 feet wide, and offers an incredible viewing area of more than 80 square feet.

In addition to the lighting ceremony, Goodman also made a conscious first bet on a new book called Faray, a $100 charity team of three teams of Saints of the week (-13.5), Seattle (-6), and Kansas City (-6.5). The Las Vegas icon made his first sports bet on Plaza's Race & Sportsbook when it was refurbished before 2013, marking the start of a long-standing partnership between William Hill and Plaza Hotel & Casino.

The Race & Sports Book will provide guests and gamblers with access to William Hill's mobile app, kiosks and InPlay wagering menus along with the casino's best-in-class restaurant and entertainment options.

"Since it opened in 1975, Race & Sports Book at the Plaza has become the longest running sports book in Las Vegas and a historic landmark," said Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill U.S. "When William Hill took over the operation in 2012, we wanted to provide the best racing and sports experience for money-makers, and we worked with our partners at Plaza to make sure it was realized today. This improvement and update makes Plaza one of the best places to watch games downtown." 온라인카지노

"Plaza continues to strengthen its casino services, and we're excited to offer such a dramatically new way to watch and bet on sports in downtown Las Vegas," said Jonathan Josel, CEO of Plaza Hotel & Casino. "The giant HD video wall is definitely a staple of the new sports book, but guests will enjoy the latest look and feel to relax and enjoy."
