The Mohegan Tribunal Gaming Authority, which trades as Mohegan Gaming, promoted two senior managers and recruited new executives to cover functions related to capital markets, investor relations and corporate finance roles.

Kelly Leung, who has been a part of the group's words "Asian marketing efforts" at the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort in Connecticut, U.S., has been named the group's senior vice president of international marketing.

His new roles will include the marketing of the Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, a newly opened complex in Incheon, Korea, which is expected to have a foreigner-only casino starting in the first quarter of next year, and the marketing of two Mohegan gaming operations in Ontario, Canada.

Hong Kong-born Mr Leung started with Mohegan Gaming in 2006 and previously worked in the entertainment and gaming sector in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joffre Wells joined Brandywine Global Investment Management LLC as Vice President of Capital Markets, Investment Relations and Corporate Finance for Mohegan Gaming.

He will work on the company's capital planning and "further strengthen" the company's investor and banking relations. Mr. Wells will also support "strategic projects in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and team member development."

Ray Pineault, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Gaming, said in a prepared statement included in the material, "We are very excited to join our team, especially as Joffre Wells' leadership and financial expertise continue to grow as the chief operating officer of the Unified Entertainment Resort.

The group also announced the promotion of Kelly Sullivan to the vice president of "People Operations" at Mohegan Gaming. She will be responsible for leading the company's "all hiring, hiring, boarding, engagement, performance management" and other "high-level internal business operations."

Mr. Pineault described Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Leung as "Moegan's exemplary team members," adding that their respective promotions "deservedly."

The CEO added, "As we head into 2024 when we face new challenges and evolve our brand, our leadership in Mohegan is stronger than ever."

The group recently announced that its current chief financial officer, Carol Anderson, would leave in March next year, but noted that the search for her replacement was well received.
