If the freezer’s seals were to be removed, your whole fridge would do nothing good. The same can happen if there is a leakage in the sealing. It does not trigger a major issue but slowly starts to pressurize the compressor. It then falls in the clutches of permanent damage. Save that and buy a new seal from Refrigaskets Canada.
