Flexible pin coupling

The Orpex coupling is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe pin coupling made of cast iron or steel with elastomer buffers.Get more news about Elastic Pin Coupling Wholesaler, you can vist our website!

These rubber elements made of NBR are the heart of the elastomer coupling and are particularly robust. They transmit the torque and compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. At the same time, the elastic buffers ensure important factors such as damping and torsional stiffness.

The Orpex compensating coupling is axially plug-in mounted. Sizes 105 to 360 consist of a hole part (part 1) and a pin part (part 2). From size 400 both coupling halves are identical and the bolts are arranged alternately.

The bolts and rubber buffers are pre-assembled ex works. For low-maintenance operation, they can be replaced in the assembled state with little effort, without moving or loosening a coupling hub.

The coupling hubs are standard for cylindrical finish bores with keyway and set screw, which we insert according to customer specifications. In addition, spigot bores, special bores or profile splines are also possible.
The areas of application for the Orpex shaft coupling are predominantly applications with high torques and shock-loaded drives.

The main areas of application are therefore in steel and cement works, the paper and plastics industry and in mining.

However, they are also used in general machine construction for a wide range of applications such as pumps and compressors, conveyors, mixers, gearboxes, etc.
