Rudy's case was brought to light when, on March 6, 2015 he mysteriously disappeared while out walking with his dogs. Rudy was never found. His pets returned home but he did not. He was suffering from PTSD after losing his father and brother. Rudy was hurt by the lack of intimacy between his father and him. His father's death and the loss of his older son were compounded when his son disappeared.
