What type of manicure to choose for spring?

I don't have long fingers and chubby hands. What will look better?

I think that for your type of fingers it is best to keep the nails short. But still, I suggest you to avoid dark and gloomy colors, instead of that try bright and bold colors. Red, orange, yealloe or green or even all of them at once. Find your most comfortable nail length and favourite color pallete sand look up some designs for short gel nails and you will  even feel better.
