If you're excited about the release of Diablo 4, then one question that you'll definitely be asking yourself is, will Diablo 4 have multiplayer? Multiplayer has been a staple feature of previous Diablo titles, allowing players to team up with their friends to take on the demons of Hell in search of juicy loot.
According to Blizzard, Diablo 4 will have multiplayer elements. This means that players will be able to once again team up with friends to take on the campaign and end-game content in a cooperative fashion. While we don't know the party limit, we expect that it'll be four, similar to other Diablo titles. There is also a PvP mode, which has been a lesser-used feature in the past, but it will be back this time around and have a lot more depth to it.
Diablo 4 will also have PvP in-game. Blizzard promised during Diablo 3’s development that player-versus-player combat was going to come to the series. It will add more chances of getting Diablo IV Items.
While not exactly a structured competitive mode, there will be zones in Diablo 4 where players can whack each other and test their might. If you’re especially good, you will get marked as a champion and that raises the chance of you getting ganged up on, as the rewards for killing you increase.
