As with Burning WoTLK Classic Gold Crusade Classic, Blizzard will provide a single character boost per account when Wrath Of The Lich King Classic's release. This means players who haven't played WoW Classic in the past or Burning Crusade Classic can get up to speed and dive into the newly released content. When asked if Wrath of the Lich King Classic would offer a paid deluxe edition similar to the one offered for Burning Crusade Classic--a bundle that upset a portion of the Classic community due to it introducing microtransactions to the previously microtransaction-free old-school MMO--Blizzard said it had nothing to announce at this time. Blizzard did say, however that similar content to the game's in-game objects found in the Burning Crusade Classic deluxe edition have been available in WoW since the beginning, going all the time to the collector's edition of the original game back in 2004. For those lucky enough to have picked up one of the original WoW collector's editions, these exclusive pets are now available for use in WoW Classic.
Blizzard has made it clear that a majority changes to Wrath of the Lich King Classic are based on gamers' feedback, which Blizzard said is the primary factor behind virtually every decision that the team takes in regards to what expansions may get"classic" or "Classic" treatment next.
The only decision that players won't get the option of making the end is whether or not they'd like to go ahead with Wrath of the Lich King at all. This is in contrast to the launch of Burning Crusade Classic, where Blizzard allowed players to choose of continuing to play on what they call "Classic Era" servers or progressing them up to The Burning Crusade, all current Burning Crusade Classic servers will automatically be converted to Wrath of the Lich King Classic servers once the expansion's launch. While Burning Crusade servers won't exist after Wrath King Classic's release Blizzard has left the door open to revisit the buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold expansion at a later date.
