1. Use finely ground ingredients to fill the tiny cavities in the feed pellets. This will reduce the rate at which water can penetrate the pellets.
2. Increase the mix's compaction by using more force during pelleting.
3. The mash and moist pellets can be cooked (e.g. Steaming is a great way to increase the volume.
4. Avoid high levels of water repellent, fat-soluble or water-absorbing ingredients in your diet mix.
