The Show 18 doesn't contain anything really groundbreaking, but there's a good deal of refinement. Animation is one massive area from previous names that has been cleaned up farther, and there is a staggering amount of new animations which help bring the baseball action to life. The familiar batting stances are here, but it is the small information and making sure that even the second-string catcher is accurate actually makes for an immersive baseball match.
