Tea Burn Reviews

Tea burns are small, red, painful blisters on your lips. They can be caused by lipstick, lip gloss, or even a cold beverage on your lips. Unfortunately, they are not very common in adults. In fact, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, only about 5% of adults experience them. There are many causes for tea burns, but most commonly it is caused by applying lipstick for too long or applying too much pressure to your lips with the lipstick brush.

Tea burns can be treated at home using over-the-counter medications such as hydrocortisone cream or ibuprofen cream. You should also try to avoid using lipsticks with thick formulas and apply chapstick after applying your lipstick to prevent more damage from occurring. If you experience more than two tea burns per week then you should see a doctor because this could indicate an underlying condition that needs treatment
