in the Necrotic Wake Dungeon next to the downed bell from The Final Toll
In the Necrotic Wake Dungeon near a pillar that has been broken at the coordinates 38.52. 53.26.
After players have collected 50 Shards, the Silverwind Larion will unlock. In the event that players have discovered all shards, this will happen regardless of player's race or class. The players also get this Shard Labor exploration achievement.
It has also been suggested that the 50 crystal shards may be used to craft Crystal Mallets of buy WOTLK Gold Heralding. Crystal Mallet of Heralding, but some players seem to be experiencing trouble with this.
