The inaugural season of the Young Legends' League (YLL) came to an end on May 19th which was organised by 8one Foundation in a small village of Champhai in Mizoram.
The eight-month long league saw boys and girls taking part, starting from the U8 age group. The Jose Cruz Jr. Jersey All India Football Federation (AIFF) has also recognised the league as one of their formal Baby Leagues in the country Brad Peacock Jersey .
The village of Champhai has been home to some top Indian footballers who are plying their trades with the Indian Super League (ISL) and the I-League clubs.Kerala Blasters' Lalruatthara, former Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Lalthuammawia Ralte, former East Bengal captain Robert Lalthlamuana and Delhi Dynamos' Lalchhawnkima are all from the Anthony Gose Jersey village.
Some of the young talents who participated in the YLL have already caught the eyes of the some of the top Indian clubs and academies.
Here are some of the highlights of YLL's first season:
1)They have succe sfully Yuli Gurriel Jersey integrated the programme with the community of Champhai which is visible through the increased participation of volunteers from within the community as coaches, referees and coordinators
2) Players from YLL have caught the eye of the Junior teams of ISL clubs as well as some of Indias best academies
3)There Yordan Alvarez Jersey is concerted effort to take football to areas which are even more harder to acce s than Champhai.They conducted a week-long U-12 League + knockout tournament in Bishnupur District of Manipur that witne sed the participation of 160 players
4)They supporttheNorth East Youngster Footballer an annual U-15 tournament that takes place in Churachandpur District of Manipur. This year NEYF witne sed the participation of 26 teams and 442 Carlos Lee Jersey players
5) The succe s of the YLL has prompted the foundation to conclude the first season in Champhai followed by a month-long League + Knockout Tournament called the YLL Cup
