Womens World Cup 2019 TV ratings soar during USWNT final

The United States women's national team brought in record-breaking numbers for some broadcasts duringits 2019 World Cup victory Sunday.

The final match, which ended with a 2-0 victory over theNetherlands, aired at 11 a.m. ET on Fox and posted a 10.0 ( Chris Paul Jersey out of 27) overnight metered-market result. The viewership beat last year's men's World Cup final by Blake Griffin Jersey over 20% but still fell behind the record-breaking 2015 women's final between the USWNT and Japan, which aired in primetime.

However, one network did reach record-breaking figuresas the national team earned its fourth cup title.

Telemundo Deportes reached historic numbers after1.6 million viewers tuned into the broadcast on the Spanish-speaking station. It made for the most watched Womens World Cup match ever on Spanish-language television. This game Patrick Beverley Jersey did pa s the 2015 final, which had1.27 million viewers, by 22%.

These numbers come in after scheduling became a topic of conversation with the cup final, theCopa Amrica final and theCONCACAF Gold Cup finalall slated for the same day.

Before the USWNT's game, which was the first Louis Williams Jersey of the three played Sunday, star Megan Rapinoe voiced her opinion on the matter, citing a lack of respect from FIFA.

"It's terrible scheduling for everyone," Rapinoe said. "That's a terrible idea to put everything on the same day. In every way.
