Do we have to submit a ticket which will take months (or not a reply ) to receive a opportunity to have a state? I have been banned before on a different acc for no reason and Maple M Mesos took me 4 weeks to prove it (more like to get any reaction from them (not a hefty nx user)).
If GMS is indeed empty wouldn't it be a fantastic idea to lift the IP ban into other areas? I reside in a region banned from GMS and from my experience many people I do party pursuit with are from areas banned from GMS. Problem is we need to use proxys and other things to have the ability to play, which provides us small lag. Many individuals are troubled by this although in my opinion it's OK and a few does not even play the game anymore because of the lag.
Maplestory was great in the past because there was a major neighborhood, there was always people available chat and to play with. I think when nexon opened GMS to regions, more players would be back, more NX would be bought. I am certain that if the game got lively, many north american players would return into the game.
I mean, we know nexon bans the IP therefore nexon could sell maplestory m mesos the game rights to firms natives to those regions, but from my experience, Maplestory in my state (Brazil) failed miserably only because there were not many players round. Unless they think the game is going to continue in the future people won't purchase cash.
One of the most important thing in a game in my opinion is stability. I like to know that everyday I will wake up and play with the game without even surprises due to a company that is stupid. I am sure many people think like me. Having IP prohibit in GMS, in 2015, is a indicator that nexon wants to kill the game permanently. Especially for Explorer, Cygnus Knight and non-maplestory m Demon/Xenon Resistance personalities (because those tend to get treated by the narrative as members of a team, rather than a specific person ).
