Following the achievement of numerous LAN finals throughout the globe every year, and the huge victory of the Rainbow Six Siege Credits Invitational that the Ubisoft esports group has decided to make a 2nd Major event on the yearly calendar. Joining the Six Invitational is the Paris Major, the large mid-century event that will provide European fans an opportunity to experience the epic production and rivalry Canadians have been treated to in the Invitational over the last few years.
The initial Paris Major will comprise sixteen teams from all over the world fighting it out in the group stage between August 13th and 15th, with this point not being open to the public. On the 17th the activity moves into the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with the quarter finals occurring and the action opening up to the general public. The semi finals will accompany on the 18th, with the most important grand final happening on the 19th.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on May 3rd with just two options out there. The 3 day regular pass will provide access to the occasion for three people days, whereas the 3 day diamond move will also offer three day accessibility, along with access to an exclusive arena entry and superior seating and a load of merch such as a cap, t-shirt and among those exclusive Rainbow Seven Season 2 Chibis. All in person attendees will receive the in game Six Important Paris charm.
