Confirm that the ‘Not Responding’ error stops appearing on the screen. If not, go to the third method.
If the above 2 methods weren’t of any help and you are still facing the Sage 50 not responding error then follow the alternative method provided.
Step 3. Rebooting the computer system. (In case the .SAI is stored on the local drive and/or other users are using it too)
If you feel like it is a Network issue, save the file to the local drive by copying and pasting it there. Create a backup.
If the copying process is extremely slow, confirm the file size. The problem may lie with the server or the network.
Once you have made everyone log out of their systems, reboot the server.
If the issue is network-related, try rebooting the router.
Step 4. Starting the Connection Manager services again
Go to the desktop and hit the Windows button on your keyboard.
Type MSC in the search bar given in the start menu.
MSC window will appear on the screen.
Go to the Name column, find Sage 50 Database Connection Manager, and right-click on it.
