Don't just dump your empty Cream Jar(KEXON) in the recycling bin. If you're wondering what to do with empty glass Cream Jar, you've come to the right place!

Preparing your empty Cream Jar

You will want to clean and sterilise your empty jars before re-using them so either stick them in the dishwasher or dunk them in a bowl of hot, soapy water for a few hours. This will also help get rid of any sticky labels, too.

Empty jars - ways to reuse them

Now your empty jars are all prepped and ready to go, it's time to get to the fun part - upcycling them into something new!

Use empty jars to serve fruity cocktails & Summer punch

Serving drinks out of empty jam jars is very popular at the moment and I can see why.

They look really cute and cheerful, and make anything look more appetising. Serve with a retro umbrella and tie some ribbon around the neck for added kitsch.

2. Make your own snow globes with empty jars

This is such a fun crafting project for the kids and they make great Christmas gifts. For a simple dry version all you need is some empty jam jars, plastic ornaments, super glue, fake snow and glitter. Glue the ornaments to the back of the lid, fill with snow and glitter then screw on - so easy!

However if you fancy having a go at a water version then top with water and a few drops of glycerin or baby oil - this helps the 'snow' to fall instead of just sink. You'll need to make sure your props inside are waterproof and it's worth gluing the lids to the jars to prevent any leaks.

Love candles? Here's what you should do with empty glass jars...

Hold tapered candles in them

Empty jars aren't just for tea lights. Fill empty jam jars with dry sand, sea salt flakes or small pebbles then place a long tapered candle in each. Decorate with ribbon or lace for a simple yet stunning centrepiece.

4. Fill jars up with trifles and other heavenly treats

Don't have any ramekins to make individual desserts? Grab those sterilised jam jars and make home made trifles or other no-bake desserts.

Just don't forget to serve with a long dessert spoon!
