His track record is awful. Most fights he got into ended in WOW Burning Crusade Classic Gold defeat or were not won fairly. Thrall has been mentioned as having kept his cool during their duel in WotLK during the Mag'gora fight with Cairne The poisoned axe and Varian knocked him out of the way.
Seriously, I think the only notable character he beat in a fair fight was Taran Zhu. Moreover, the fight was pretty close.
He lost completely in his final battle against Thrall. He was losing his duel with Varian and also in a duel against Cairne. The first fight was a loss that was cut short, and he won the second unfairly.
They had three fights and they were all interrupted. In their third fight in Wolfheart, Varian only gains an advantage because his blessing by Lo'Gash and has unbeatable endurance. Both are equally skilled when they face off during the tides of War.
He basically started out as a Mary Sue between being a stronger warrior than Orgrim Doomhammer. He was also a prodigy in the shamanistic arts , and even attracting women of different species to pay attention.
Garrosh didn't take no part in Cataclysms battles, he was the leader of the invasion into the Twilight Highlands and beat a dragon to death while they did it. I remember theories swirling around in MoP that our Garrosh was a fraud who was instated by the twilight Hammer, and he went missing.
I've been disappointed that they seemed to ignore the fact that Thrall was a physical genius from his beginnings, even though I do like that he's also a shaman with a big mouth. In fact, his character hasn't seemed very warrior like since WotLK.
Yes, I agree. It's a problem with Garrosh's character as the char. Although he's been described as an amazing warrior books such as the shattering hint that his father may also be one. It's not shown. Garrosh would have lost to Cairne had it not been for the cheating. However, lets be honest Thrall might have been able to take on Cairne at the cheap WOW TBC Gold time. I believe that Garrosh is a good warrior, but what could he be according to your argument? It's not as good as green jesus
