There's plenty to do, see and experience out there and the majority of it is created by players it's something I regret about the old-school WoW. It has lost its magic to me over a long time. I'll never forget getting dressed in SWP equipment, or seeing people commenting on my server that they were so cool.
It's unbelievable how I could lounge in Limsa or Ul'dah or even wearing my triple Triad parasol out and I will undoubtedly get like 5 whispers on where I bought it. Sometimes, I'll message others to find out where they acquired a particular fashion piece, since I'm also a huge glamour fiend. It's extremely enjoyable.
Early Runescape is a wonderful community. You can explore Varrock and Falador and find a multitude of players doing different things. Or, go to world 2 for buy WOW TBC Classic Gold these exchange sites. Many players wasted their time playing minigames. However, now everyone has broken down their activities into gold/hour and hours of xp.
