The character model of our hero was completely recreated.
Many of the developers of the original Alan Wake, including me, were involved in the creation of this Remaster. Above all, we wanted to true the identity and the unique visual style of Alan Wake and still lift the graphic to the level, the player expect today. Almost everything from the original game we have revised: lots of individual objects, from ambient scenes to individual props, textures, sound effects and the design of the user interface. Since they make a hugely important part of the nerve-wracking atmosphere of the game, a whole team has become a laborious work only dealing with the trees and the foliage look as well as possible.
Everything is connected to each other
Some of you have met Alan Wake for the first time in the AWE enlargement of Control, another game playing in the connected remedy universe. There we have brought some light into the dark of Alan Wakes long untouched secrets in deep darkness. We have learned that the strange events in Alan Wake were examined by the Federal Bureau of Control as an altered World Event - a crisis that is caused when dangerous supernatural forces pass through our reality. So the story of Alan Wake was perceived by the filter of the story of Control. Both Control and Alan Wake exist in the same world and the events of a story hang with those of the other together. Now we make the history of origin of the writer of a new generation of an unfavorable player.
